Here at SERVPRO of White Plains & New Rochelle, we pride ourselves on not only remediating water, fire, smoke and mold losses, but also keeping things clean in the process. With the cold, flu and COVID-19, staying clean is more important than ever for our health. • Make sure that you have the proper chemicals. Most labels list what viruses the specific chemical is successful in killing.
• Focus on cleaning major hot spots in the home. This includes light switches, doorknobs, faucet handles, remote controls, phones and keyboards.
• Be sure to wash, disinfect and sanitize your cleaning equipment on a regular basis. This includes mop heads, rags and cloths. 
• Make sure to regularly clean all bedding, blankets, pillow and furniture covers. 
• When in doubt... WASH YOUR HANDS! It's simple yet every effective.
