Water Damage on Wood Floor

The wood flooring was saturated from a leaking pipe on the floor above. The homeowners were able to turn off the water at the water main and called a plumber to get the leak repaired before they called us in to extract the water from the floor. Due to the quick actions of the homeowners and rapid response of the plumber and SERVPRO of White Plains And New Rochelle the water did not create heavy damage and we were able to extract the standing water from the surface of the wood flooring before any of it absorbed into the wood. The quick response saved the homeowner money, time and stress by not having to have the flooring replaced.
