Ice storm and frozen pipes

Multiple arctic cold fronts and arctic vortexes moved through our area this winter wreaking havoc on homes and businesses plumbing systems. One of the arctic storms victims was a local school that suffered frozen water pipes that burst and affected several rooms and hallways.

The damage was extensive with several rooms and ceilings being saturated. After the removal of the affected walls, insulation,carpet, carpet pad and flooring, our technicians set up dehumidifiers and air movers. The drying equipment ran for a couple days to thoroughly dry out the structure. Once optimal drying was achieved the equipment was removed and the affected areas were ready for rebuild.
