Heavy rains and flooding

A local bank had some unfortunate flooding due to a heavy rainstorm that moved through the area , dumping up to an inch an hour of rain. The bank had a sump pump in the basement to help alleviate some of the flooding but when that system became overwhelmed it stopped working. The flooding affected a break room, a few storage rooms and the hallways.

Our technicians arrived and extracted all of the standing water and set up drying equipment to dry out the space as soon as possible. After the drying process was done , the area was cleaned and treated with an antimicrobial chemical. We informed the bank manager to call the company that installed the sump pump to service it or replace it to prevent flooding in the future.
