Basement and Bathroom Water Damage

Heavy thunderstorms moved through the area and dropped heavy rains which overwhelmed drainage systems around this home. The overflowing water than made its way into the finished basement and bathroom. The water saturated walls, area rugs and some low sitting furniture. The main flooring throughout the finished basement was tile because the family had experienced flooding in the past and the carpet and pad were removed, so to save money in case of another flood , they had tile installed throughout the basement. That was a smart decision on their part with the history of flooding in the area. We were able to extract any standing water and remove the affected baseboards and drywall quickly. The drying equipment was setup and dried up any residual moisture. The family was pleased how quickly the process was handled.
